Although I was not watching over Tony and Eric, I did hear a little bit of the conversation in which Tony took the time to explain what he was doing and answer Eric’s questions. Also, I was impressed that Eric took advantage of his training to ask questions and work through the process with Tony.

My husband Sean and I were so pleased with our experience from beginning to end. From the estimate to complete of installation of our heating and AC unit, a total of one week passed. The price and service was exceptional. We have had many projects and remodeling completed in our home over the past few years and H and H by far surpassed all other experiences regarding time, knowledge, and affordability.

It should also be known that our installers Bill and Phil were especially knowledgable and respectful. Many times they would come upstairs to inform me of their progress and plan of action. They were also extremely respectful of my home by wearing coverings on their shoes and lining the house with tarp. They worked for 2 days about 9 hours each straight.

Overall, our experience was an extremely positive one and we will recommend your company to our family and friends.

Dear H & H Heating,

We want to thank you for the excellent job you did with installing our boiler. Our boiler was burning fuel so poorly that it coated the inside of our chimney with soot and caused it to back up. We had a puff back. We had no idea that our old furnace was in such a dangerous state. We have what is known as a summer/winter hook-up and needed someone who is experienced in this type of heating and hot water system.

We called your company because you came highly recommended by friends of ours. Not only are your technicians kind, courteous and proficient, their craftsmanship is top shelf. They were here on 12/22/10 and 12/23/10, and were willing to come back the next day, the 24th on Christmas Eve, if they didn’t get our boiler totally installed and up and running that day. They did finish the installation on the 23rd and we never knew that a boiler could run so quietly!

Of course we are now going to use your company for all maintenance and service to our boiler. We have found that you really do live up to your commitment to provide your customers with the highest quality service. You really do give trusted installation to your customers at fair prices. You really do live up to your promise to give 24/7/365 service, and that there really aren’t any overtime rates.

What a blessing it is to know that there is a company like yours we can depend on, and to know that we are in good hands and can feel safe again.

I just wanted to send you a letter to thank you for the wonderful service that your company gave my family today.

We awoke this morning to find our hot water heater was not generating hot water. Both my wife and I had to go to work, so my wife called you very early this morning. I appreciate the fact that you told her that although you were very busy that day, not to worry, and that you would have someone come out and fix it today. It was nice not to have to worry about it.

Jim arrived shortly thereafter and quickly diagnosed the problem. He gave us the option of repairing our existing water heater or installing a new one. We opted for the new hot water heater. I was amazed to hear that he would stay and install it today. The price was great, which I also appreciate.

I was a little nervous to come home to see what I would find, but I should have known better from your company’s past performance. You could not tell that someone had worked in the area all day. The area was spotless, and he performed a thoroughly professional installation

My In-Laws were at my house today while Jim was working. My Sister-in-Law, who is visiting from Germany, remarked to me that she had never seen a customer service in Germany (ever) like Joe had provided today. She couldn’t say enough nice things about him. That’s nice to hear.

Again, I just wanted to thank you for superior customer service. It is rare to find someone that we can count on like I know we can count on you. I will tell you that any future HVAC requirements that my house may have will be yours without a doubt. Your company installed a new Bryant compressor and evaporating coil at my home on July 7 of this year. During the days that followed the installation the unit appeared incapable of cooling the house. The second floor was constantly warmer than the thermostat was set for, and the compressor would not respond to the second floor thermostat. I called for someone to evaluate the operation of the system to see if it could be made more effective. Your office assigned Garth to come to my home to evaluate the operation of the system. I was very impressed with the methodical approach that Garth took to the problem. He carefully studied the drawings we have of the system and after much diagnostic evaluation determined that another relay had to be installed in the compressor control panel. Garth worked beyond his usual finishing time and completed the repair before going home. Since that time the house has been comfortably cool and the compressor and the circulating fan have been operating far less.

I want to complement Garth’s skills and his work ethic, and my wife and I are appreciative of the careful and methodical way he went about his work. We look forward to continuing our relationship with your company.

This past week your company replaced my home heating system and hot water heater (1/24 & 1/25). I want to inform you of what I feel was an absolutely excellent job performance by the two men you sent for the job, Mr. Carl Strickland and his assistant Mr. Ibraham Darlington (I apologize if my spelling of their names are wrong; I simply asked their names and didn’t see them in writing).

Mr. Strickland performed a large number of different jobs under varying degrees of difficulty (and extreme cold!). He arrived exactly when he said he would and seemed to work non-stop for two days straight. He was extremely cordial to me and despite being very busy he took time to answer all of my questions and explain things to me as the job proceeded. I can say the same for Mr. Darlington as well.

I was impressed at Mr. Strickland’s expertise in doing so many different tasks and making it all work together. I was also impressed at the concern he showed in trying to keep my home as clean and neat as possible given the nature of the job. He was careful to use drop cloths and carefully cleaned up each place he worked in. I have hired other contractors for various jobs over the years and I can say the same is not true for all of them.

Lastly, I wish to point out that Mr. Strickland informed me that he smelled a slight gas leak in my laundry room (an area he wasn’t actively working in but that was near the heater room). I had noticed the odor for a time in the past but didn’t realize it was gas. He suggested I call PECO to come check out the leak; I did so immediately. It turned out there was a small leak in my gas dryer which PECO corrected. I am thankful for Mr. Strickland’s alertness to the leak.
I don’t know how you compensate your employees but I can say that Mr. Strickland and Mr. Darlington did their work here exceptionally well. I have included copies of this letter which I hope you will pass along to each of them so they know my appreciation.

I have had various types of contractor work done in and around my home over the years and in general I haven’t been completely satisfied with most of them. I am, however, completely satisfied with everything concerning H&H including the repair work done on my old heating system, the very knowledgeable explanation and quote for the new system put together by Mr. Michael Hoke, and the removal and installation of the systems discussed above. I feel that every penny spent for this work was well worth it.

I have already been telling my family and coworkers about my dealings with your company and I will continue to pass along my highest recommendations to anyone I know needing heating or air conditioning work. Your company seems to be staffed with many good people who also know how to do their jobs very well. I wish you continued success in your business!

I am dropping you this line to let you know that when I had work done on the heater in my apartment last week, your employees, Bob and Neville came to do the job. This note is to commend them for going above and beyond what one usually sees in repairmen. They took extra time and effort to make sure the job was done, and one right, and in doing so insured that my son and I did not go without heat on a very cold night. They were cordial and pleasant and neat and polite. I just wanted to let you know that a good job they were doing.

Bob Newcomb, Ibraham and Willie were polite, courteous, didn’t blast a radio, cleaned up every day of the three day job and left not a scrap of debris. Bob had two subcontractors show up at times not convenient to the work in progress, he took control so all ended well and at the agreed time. Donald Trump would have been proud of this team.
